This 1995 Porsche 911 Carrera RS is one of approximately 1,014 examples produced for the 1995 and 1996 model years and spent several years in Italy before moving to Sweden approximately 10 years ago. A 2021 mechanical service performed by Porsche in Stuttgart totaled over €37,000 (~$43k) and included an overhaul of the six-speed manual transaxle along with a refresh of the engine, ignition system, chassis, and air conditioning system. Finished in black over black leather, the car is powered by a 3.8-liter M64/20 flat-six and features a seam-welded body shell, an aluminum hood, front and rear spoilers, cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes with red-painted calipers, adjustable anti-roll bars, a front strut tower bar, staggered-width 18? Speedline multi-piece wheels, sport seats, and a cassette player. It was imported to the US in 2023 and was purchased by its current owner in 2024. This Carrera RS is now offered in Monterey, California on dealer consignment as part of the Mohr Imports Car Week Collection: Postcards from Monterey with a stamped service booklet, a binder of service invoices and documents, owner’s manuals, and a clean Montana title.

1995 Porsche 911 Carrera RS

The 993 RS Carrera was introduced for the 1995 model year as a lightweight variant of the Carrera featuring a seam-welded body shell, an aluminum hood, deleted headlight washers, and thinner glass compared to the standard model. This example is finished in Schwarz (A1) and features front and rear spoilers, black Carrera RS decklid badging, and amber side marker lamps. Multipiece 18? Speedline wheels are wrapped in 225/40 front and 265/35 rear Pirelli P Zero Rosso tires. Stopping is handed by cross-drilled and ventilated disc brakes with red-painted four-piston calipers, and the car is equipped with power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering.

The cabin houses a pair of manually adjustable sport seats trimmed in black leather with perforated inserts and color-matched trim over the door panels. Additional features include black carpeting with yellow “Carrera RS” script embroidered on the rear bulkhead, yellow seatbelts and door pull straps, power windows, air conditioning, dual front airbags, and a cassette player.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 7,600-rpm tachometer, a 300-km/h speedometer, a quartz clock, and combination gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 82k kilometers (~51k miles). The speedometer was repaired in 2017.

The M64/20 flat-six was enlarged to 3.8 liters for the Carrera RS model and features a VarioRam intake system, forged pistons, lightened rocker arms, enlarged intake valves, Bosch Motronic engine management, and dual oil coolers. Output was factory rated at 300 horsepower. This engine, ignition system, and air conditioning were refreshed by Porsche in Stuttgart in 2021.

The six-speed manual transaxle incorporates a limited-slip differential and was overhauled during the 2021 refresh. The Carrera RS model’s suspension featured a lower ride height than the standard Carrera as well as five-way adjustable anti-roll bars and a strut brace.
